A Priestly Prayer

Wash me clean and sanctify me for thy usage.
Wash me white and purge away the crimson stain.
Change my garments Lord and clothe me in salvation.
On my forehead you have written a new name.

Adonai, Elohim, “Abba,” Father.
Let me worship at thy feet holy Lord.
El-shaddai, Elohenu, my Messiah.
Let thy glory be proclaimed for ever more.
Amen!

Let your waters overflow me like a fountain.
Let your light shine from my eyes as from a lamp.
Let your Holy Spirit use me as an oracle of God.
Let your Holy Spirit seal me with his stamp.

Adonai, Elohim, “Abba,” Father.
Let me worship at thy feet holy Lord.
El-shaddai, Elohenu, my Messiah.
Let thy glory be proclaimed for ever more.
Amen!

Oh anoint to me with your fragrant oil, prepare me to go forth.
Let mine unguent flow upon me a sweet savor.
Let my prayers ascend before you’re thrown to swirl about your feet.
Let me worship in your temple blessed Savior.

Adonai, Elohim, “Abba,” Father.
Let me worship at thy feet holy Lord.
El-shaddai, Elohenu, my Messiah.
Let thy glory be proclaimed for ever more.
Amen!

May I minister forever in the presence of my God.
Let my life a living sacrifice be offered.
Let me stand before the cherubim exalting thy great name.
Let my praise, like incense rise before thine altar.

Adonai, Elohim, “Abba,” Father.
Let me worship at thy feet holy Lord.
El-shaddai, Elohenu, my Messiah.
Let thy glory be proclaimed for ever more.
Amen!
